My first appointment for NYFW was at Hairstory, a hair studio located in Downtown New York. When I walked in I thought I have entered the wrong place, since there is no front desk. Instead, a encountered a small photo studio and a big table with the corporate team working in their computers. Hairstory is definitely not an ordinary salon, it’s a creative space ‘dedicated to helping people rethinking everything about hair in a world where the old rules don’t apply‘. Michael Gordon, the founder of Bumble and Bumble, opened the studio to experiment and engage in an artistic project. The coolest hair place I’ve been so far. I got to know a little more about their concept when, earlier this year, I was introduced to their cleansing cream New Wash, an awesome product that cleans, conditioners, detangles and repairs in only one step! Going back to my experience there, I was taken care by Wes Sharpton, a super talented and friendly stylist. After washing my hair with New Wash, he applied Undressed to add volume while blowing dry, creating a natural beachy look. Minutes later, and a lot of chatting in between, I was ready to start fashion week looking fabulous. Because we all have our hair stories. #takeoverstyle

Over kisses 😉
